Fixed-bed operating experimental column conditions were studied to evaluate the performance of brick from Bangui Region (in Central African Republic), coated with iron oxyhydroxide (ferrihydrite) for removal iron(II) aqueous solution. The prediction theoretical breakthrough profiles using Bohart and Adams sorption model was employed achieve characteristic parameters such as depth exchange zone, time required zone move vertically, moving rate adsorption capacity useful fixed-bed reactor investigated under varying conditions. effects bed flow on studied.
